Travel and food

Travel has always been a core part of how I experience and understand the world. I’ve had the opportunity to visit over 28 countries across five continents by the age of 20 — and each trip has sharpened my perspective on culture, opportunity, and how people live, think, and build.

I’m drawn to places that challenge my assumptions — whether it’s through local economies, historic legacies, or simply a different pace of life. Along the way, food has been just as important: exploring unique cuisines is, for me, another way to experience a culture’s creativity, discipline, and values firsthand.

Travel and food aren’t just hobbies — they’re an extension of how I approach everything: with curiosity, openness, and an instinct to learn through real-world experience.

NYC

In New York City, one of the places that’s left the strongest impression on me is

Sushi by Masa.

It’s more than just a meal — it’s an experience in precision, patience, and mastery.

Everything about the dining experience reflects the same principles

I value elsewhere in life:

  • Attention to detail

  • Respect for craft

  • Long-term commitment to excellence over speed or trend

At Sushi by Masa, each piece is prepared with focus, intention,

and a deep understanding of how small moves compound into an

unforgettable experience — much like how value builds over time

in the worlds of investing, branding, or strategy.

Experiences like this remind me that whether you’re managing capital,

building a brand, or crafting a single piece of sushi, real outcomes

come from clarity, discipline, and a respect for time.
